Via George Washington Bridge

Follow Signs to Route 4 West. From Route 4 West, exit Forest Avenue (Chrysler-Jeep Dealer); continue for a number of miles, past Cedar Park Cemetery on left. After cemetery, bear right and follow sign to Westwood. Road ends at stop sign (at park). Turn right onto Washington Avenue—over tracks and straight through center of Westwood. Continue straight through downtown River Vale. JHAL is on right past row of stores.

From South via NJ Turnpike North:

Exit Teaneck at 70B. Follow ramp past hotel complex. Turn right at second light onto Teaneck Road. Follow to Route 4 West (Local #2 below) OR continue straight on Teaneck Road through Bergenfield, Dumont, etc. until Closter. Turn left onto High Street which becomes Old Hook Road. Continue to traffic light just past Shop Rite Supermarket; turn right at next street—Emerson Road to the end. Left turn onto River Vale Road to traffic light. Right turn onto Westwood Avenue. JHAL is on right side, past row of stores.

From South via Garden State Parkway North:

Exit 168, bear right. Continue on Washington Avenue through center of Westwood. Continue on Westwood Avenue into downtown River Vale. Continue straight past light at River Vale Road. JHAL is on the right after row of stores.

From North via NY Thruway to Garden State Parkway:

NY Thurway to Exit 14A – Garden State Parkway. GSP to Exit 172 (Schoolhouse Road). Go left onto Schoolhouse and follow until light at Grand Avenue. Left onto Grand Avenue until it terminates at River Vale Road. Right onto River Vale Road to traffic light at intersection of River Vale Road and Westwood Avenue. Left onto Westwood Avenue, JHAL is on right past row of stores.

From North via Palisades Parkway:

Exit 6W, bear right Orangeburg Road, second traffic light, left onto Blaisdell Road. Continue to end and turn right onto Old Tappan Road, past shopping center. Left at second traffic light onto Washington Avenue. In approx. 1/2 mile, right onto Westwood Avenue. Continue on Westwood Avenue to JHAL on left.

From North/South via 9W:

Exit Closter Dock Road, down hill. Right onto Piermont Road and left onto High Street, thru Closter, which becomes Old Hook Road. Continue to traffic light just past Shop Rite Supermarket; turn right at next street—Emerson Road to the end. Left turn onto River Vale Road to traffic light. Right turn onto Westwood Avenue. JHAL is on right side, past row of stores.

Local from points in Bergen County:

1. Kinderkamack Road North to five corners in Westwood; turn right onto Harrington Avenue (which becomes Westwood Avenue in River Vale). Continue thru downtown River Vale, pass row of stores on right side to JHAL on right side.
2. From Route 4 West, exit Forest Avenue (Chrysler-Jeep Dealer); continue for a number of miles, past Cedar Park Cemetery on left. After cemetery, bear right and follow sign to Westwood. JHAL is on right side, past row of stores.
